22Bet Creates KSh 5,000,000 Music Fund to Help Kenyan Artists

Continuing its philanthropic streak in Kenya, 22Bet unveiled a 5,000,000 KES culture fund, which aims to provide much-needed support to Kenyan music artists in the wake of the financial hardship caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Artists willing to get the sponsorship will have to go through an audition to determine the quality of their music. If they are good enough, they will receive a sponsorship to record their songs and music videos.

“It’s a good thing that 22bet is supporting young artists, especially now in the Covid-19 pandemic era, when most of their income streams have been greatly reduced by lockdowns.”

As many of you know, 22Bet Kenya recently sponsored Rayton Okwiri’s world boxing title fight preparation activities. We also organized a football tournament with cash prizes to help young Kenyan football talent get noticed, made a donation to the Superb CBO, and organized a 1,000,000 Ksh boda boda drive aimed to educate drivers on the importance of safe driving.
The 22Bet culture fund’s main goal is to open doors for talented young artists. It will distribute a total of 5,000,000 KSh to various upcoming artists.
In order to identify deserving recipients, 22Bet will work with Bazu Entertainment, which is owned by famous TV personality Willis Raburu.
